Hello, fellow wanderers! It’s Scotty and Eve here, ready to take you on another tech-savvy travel journey. This time, we’re sharing our enchanting experiences from Carmel by the Sea, a picturesque town that feels like it’s straight out of a fairytale.

Our tech companions for this trip included our iPhone 14 for capturing high-quality images, a phone stand with a remote for group shots, a portable power bank to ensure our gadgets never ran out of juice, and our ever-reliable GoPro Hero 8. The GoPro battery charger, equipped with a windshield holder, was perfect for documenting our scenic drives.

Home base was a delightful Airbnb located in the Carmel Highlands, offering a fantastic view of the beach. Waking up to the beautiful vista each morning and enjoying the coastal view during our coffee sessions added a special touch to our stay.

Here are the highlights of our trip:

1. Downtown Carmel: We spent many enjoyable hours in this charming district, wandering the quaint streets, meeting friendly locals, and delighting in a particularly scrumptious cake we discovered at a local bakery.
2. Bixby Bridge: A stop at the iconic Bixby Bridge is a must. The drive offers numerous stunning viewpoints, allowing us to make the most of our photo gear.
3. Big Sur: This natural masterpiece kept us coming back for more. Each visit revealed a fresh, awe-inspiring perspective of the rugged coastline.
4. Pfeiffer Beach: Catching a sunset at this beach is etched forever in our memories. The kaleidoscope of twilight colors dancing on the waves was pure magic. Arrive early to find your perfect spot, and don’t forget there’s a small entry fee.
5. Nepenthe: Known for its breathtaking views, this is the perfect spot for sunset drinks. The food is satisfying, but the panoramic vistas are the real feast here.
6. Route 1: The scenic drive along Route 1 is unmissable. Each trip revealed a new landscape that had us reaching for our GoPro in awe.

Carmel by the Sea and its surroundings offered us a perfect blend of relaxing moments and adventurous outings. With our trusty tech tools in tow, we created memories to last a lifetime.
